Changing your Projector to/from ECO mode

Your new projectors are probably set to AUTO for ECO mode. That means that if the lights are down in front, the projector will be about 10% dimmer and 90% quieter and the bulb will last 100% longer. But if your projector was one of the first half dozen we installed, we probably have ECO mode set to off.

  • If you want to always be in ECO mode (presumably because you like the near silent operation), you can set that from the home screen under Power Consumption choose ECO.
  • If you want to never be in ECO mode (presumably because you like the near blinding brightness), you can set that from the home screen under Power Consumption choose Normal.
  • If you want the projector to decide based on the amount of light in the room (presumably because you are basically a very lazy person), you can set that from the home screen under Power Consumption choose Auto.

In each case, then you hit enter (the middle button) then use the up arrow to get to Return, then hit enter again then press menu to leave the menu.
