Steps to install:
- Download the SmartLoop app from Keystone Technologies from the Apple App Store or from Google Play.
- The app will ask for access to your Photos to store/retrieve QR-Codes. I did “Allow access to all photos“. If you were emailed a QR-Code, you could only allow access to that photo, or you could probably not allow access to any photos, and the app should still work fine for nearly everyone.
- The app will ask to use Bluetooth. You have to say “OK” to this, or it can’t talk to the lights.
- Open the app and under the More Menu in the lower right choose Regions.
- Click on the blue “Scan or Select QR-Code” icon.
- The app will ask for access to your Camera. Say “OK” to this one too.
- Ask someone who has the QR-Code to let you scan it. (from their app have them, click on More, then Regions, , then User, and the QR code will appear for you to scan)
- The app will ask you to confirm that you want to switch to a new region (They call rooms “regions”). Click “Confirm”. Your Current Region should now be: LLHS Gym Lights.
- Click the “Back” button in the upper left.
To Use:
- Everything you would normally do is under “Scenes” on the bottom menu, but you can also control individual “Lights” or “Groups” of lights from the corresponding menus.
- NOTE: The lights remember the last Scene used, so please change the Scene back to Normal when you are done messing around.
Notes:
- If you would like a new scene programmed into the app, please ask Lloyd or Scott.
