Just a couple of things to look at when things don’t work quite right

FACTS -> Canvas

• Don’t forget to setup the Grading Periods in Canvas: Admin: Gradig: Grading Periods. You will need 1x year, 2x semesters, 4x quarters for 7-12 and 1x year, 2x semesters for 6th grade. The naming is strange, look at last year.
• Make teacher and student access for canvas terms about 2 weeks after the actual end date for late work and/or grading.

Canvas -> FACTS

• In Canvas: Reports: Report Manager: Gradebook: Canvas Import (favorite it)
  • You have to say which classes to sync from Canvas to FACTS. In retrospect, I would include all classes where there are grades. The sync will take a little longer, but you won’t miss a class.
  • EVERY quarter you have to change (in settings) the term that will sync from Canvas. But it will only sync one quarter, so you don’t want to change to, for instance, 2nd Quarter until 2 weeks into 2nd quarter in case teachers are still entering 1st Quarter grades.
