Problem: Student’s Canvas account is suddenly in a different language, and changing the language in settings on the iPad does reverts back to the wrong language.
Note: The student can fix this themself, but will need someone to do the same steps on a device that is in their language so that they know where to click in the foreign language
- From a browser, log into Canvas, Click on Account (upper left), Click on Settings, Click Edit Settings (on the left, or at the bottom), and change the language to the correct language. (note: it might be easier to do this for the student as an administrator).
- If the student is using the Canvas Student app, go to the application settings, change the language there, and tell it to reload the cache. Restart the app.
